A global industrial manufacturer serving steel, refractory, foundry, glass, cement, lime, mining, aluminum, copper and other high-temperature process industries is seeking an experienced NAFTA Logistics Manager. Lead transportation and logistics strategy across the United States, Canada and Mexico.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead initiatives that improve safety, customer service, OTIF, inventory performance, cost and operational efficiency.
- Partner with manufacturing, production, procurement, logistics, customer service and commercial teams.
- Utilize SAP/ERP, MRP, Power BI, Excel and planning tools to support decision making.
- Drive continuous improvement using KPIs including OTIF, working capital, inventory turns, forecast accuracy, freight cost and service levels.
- Manage carrier relationships, freight negotiations, trucking operations, cross-border logistics, customs compliance and transportation cost optimization.
Preferred Background:
- 7+ years of experience in Transportation, Logistics, Freight Management, Distribution, Supply Chain, or Regional Logistics Leadership.
- Experience managing domestic and cross-border trucking operations throughout the United States, Canada, and/or Mexico.
- Experience negotiating carrier agreements, managing freight spend, optimizing transportation networks, and improving logistics KPIs.
- Experience with transportation management systems (TMS), freight analytics, customs compliance, and USMCA operations.
- Experience leading logistics teams, carrier relationships, or third-party logistics providers.
- Experience within refractory, steel, metals, foundry, mining, glass, cement, lime, industrial minerals or heavy industrial manufacturing.
- Knowledge of products including refractory brick, monolithic refractories, castables, gunning mixes, ramming mixes, mortars, alumina, tabular alumina, calcined alumina, magnesia, dolomite, zircon, silicon carbide, graphite and ceramic materials.
- Exposure to carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, specialty metals, aluminum, copper, nickel, titanium, cast iron or ductile iron manufacturing.
- Understanding of blast furnaces, basic oxygen furnaces, electric arc furnaces, continuous casting, rolling mills, heat treating, forging, kilns, calcining, sintering and mineral processing.
- Strong analytical, leadership and communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary up to $150,000.
