Senior Sales Manager

A rapidly growing industrial technology company is expanding its U.S. commercial team and seeking a Senior Sales Manager with experience selling industrial SaaS, telemetry, telematics, industrial IoT, fleet management, connected equipment, GPS tracking, operational technology, asset tracking, or equipment monitoring solutions into enterprise customers.
This role is ideal for a consultative B2B sales professional with experience managing complex sales cycles involving hardware + software solutions, connected devices, machine data, pilot programs, proof-of-concept deployments, enterprise software implementations, and long-term strategic account development.
The organization supports customers across industrial and operations-driven environments including heavy equipment, off-highway equipment, construction, mining, logistics, manufacturing, transportation, fleet operations, industrial automation, equipment rental, aggregates, and connected asset operations.
Remote / field-based role supporting customers throughout the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new business development and strategic account acquisition across enterprise and industrial markets
- Sell industrial SaaS, telemetry, telematics, industrial IoT, fleet management, GPS tracking, connected equipment, operational technology, and asset monitoring solutions
- Manage long-cycle enterprise sales opportunities from prospecting through pilot deployment, implementation, rollout, and account expansion
- Lead customer presentations, discovery sessions, proof-of-concept initiatives, solution demonstrations, and pilot programs
- Work closely with customers to define operational KPIs, ROI metrics, utilization targets, maintenance goals, and deployment success criteria
- Build relationships with executive leadership, operations teams, maintenance groups, fleet managers, plant leadership, engineering teams, and technical stakeholders
- Collaborate cross-functionally with implementation, operations, customer success, deployment, and technical support teams throughout the customer lifecycle
- Support strategic partnerships, channel development, and business expansion initiatives
- Maintain pipeline activity, forecasting, CRM updates, and sales performance reporting
- Represent the organization at customer meetings, trade shows, fleet technology events, industrial conferences, and operational strategy discussions
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise B2B sales, strategic account management, industrial technology sales, operational technology sales, or consultative solution selling
- Experience selling telemetry, telematics, industrial IoT, fleet management software, GPS tracking systems, connected equipment solutions, industrial SaaS, operational technology platforms, asset tracking systems, remote monitoring solutions, or equipment analytics platforms
- Proven ability to manage long sales cycles and enterprise customer relationships
- Experience supporting pilot programs, proof-of-concept deployments, phased rollouts, and enterprise software or hardware implementations
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Experience working within industrial, construction, manufacturing, mining, logistics, transportation, heavy equipment, off-highway equipment, fleet technology, industrial automation, or operational technology environments preferred
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments with high autonomy
- Willingness to travel as needed for customer meetings, pilots, industry events, and deployment discussions
Compensation: $120,000 – $185,000 Base Salary + Incentive Opportunity
