We are partnering with a leading, globally recognized manufacturer of advanced CNC machine tools and precision manufacturing solutions to identify a Product Manager with deep expertise in ultra-high precision machining (UPM).

This is a high-impact, customer-facing role focused on driving product strategy, supporting sales growth, and advancing the adoption of ultra-high precision machining centers capable of sub-micron accuracy across demanding industries including aerospace, medical devices and implants, electric vehicles (EV), high-end automotive, and die/mold manufacturing.

Position Overview:

The Product Manager will serve as a technical and commercial leader for a portfolio of ultra-precision CNC machining platforms, working closely with sales, applications engineering, and customers to position advanced solutions in tight tolerance machining, micro machining, and high-performance manufacturing environments.

This individual will play a critical role in bridging product strategy, customer applications, and market development, helping drive growth in segments requiring micron and sub-micron level accuracy, superior surface finishes, and complex geometry capability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead product strategy and market development for ultra-high precision machining centers, including micro machining and nano-precision applications
• Partner with sales teams to support technical positioning and drive revenue growth across key accounts and target industries
• Collaborate with applications engineering to deliver solutions for tight tolerance, close tolerance, and high-precision CNC machining requirements
• Engage directly with customers to understand requirements related to micron-level tolerances, fine feature machining, and advanced materials
• Support product launches, competitive positioning, and go-to-market strategies for high-precision CNC milling, 5-axis machining, and ultra-precision platforms
• Provide technical expertise around surface finish requirements, GD&T, and complex part geometries
• Act as a subject matter expert in industries utilizing ultra-precision components, including aerospace, medical, semiconductor-adjacent, and advanced automotive sectors

Qualifications:

• Experience in product management, applications engineering, sales engineering, or technical sales within ultra-high precision machining environments
• Strong background in precision CNC machining, micro machining, or sub-micron manufacturing processes
• Hands-on or customer-facing experience with ultra-precision machining centers
• Demonstrated understanding of tight tolerance machining, micron-level accuracy, and high-end manufacturing applications
• Experience working with materials and applications common to aerospace components, medical implants, EV systems, and die/mold tooling
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred; equivalent hands-on industry experience will be considered
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interface across engineering, sales, and executive stakeholders

Location & Travel:

• Remote / work-from-home role with flexibility on location
• Candidates must be located near a major airport to support customer visits and travel

Compensation:

• Base salary range: $170,000 – $220,000, plus additional incentives
