Regional Sales Representative

We are seeking a driven Regional Sales Representative to support and grow a defined territory focused on sheet metal fabrication tooling, laser consumables, and related equipment solutions.
This role is well suited for a sales professional working in fabrication, industrial tooling, or manufacturing environments who wants to expand their territory and earnings potential. It also aligns well with someone who has hands-on experience operating punch presses, press brakes, or laser cutting systems and understands fabrication workflows, tooling performance, and production challenges.
You will work directly with sheet metal fabricators, job shops, contract manufacturers, and OEM suppliers to deliver solutions that improve throughput, reduce setup time, optimize tooling life, and increase cutting and forming efficiency.
Product & Application Focus
Your territory will center around:
- Tooling for CNC turret punch presses and punch presses
- Press brake tooling and forming solutions
- Fiber laser and CO₂ laser consumables
- Sheet metal fabrication tooling applications
- Process improvement and production optimization solutions
This role is focused specifically within sheet metal fabrication environments, supporting both ongoing production needs and long-term process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a territory sales strategy across Wisconsin
- Prospect and grow new business within sheet metal fabrication and metal processing accounts
- Maintain and expand existing customer relationships through consultative, solution-based selling
- Conduct on-site visits to evaluate punching, bending, forming, and laser cutting processes
- Recommend tooling, consumables, and application improvements to increase efficiency and reduce cost-per-part
- Present proposals and productivity improvements to shop owners, plant managers, and operations leaders
- Manage pipeline activity, forecasting, and CRM documentation
- Represent the organization at trade shows, open houses, and industry events
Qualifications & Background:
- Experience in industrial sales, fabrication tooling, or manufacturing solutions
- OR hands-on experience operating or supporting turret presses, punch presses, press brakes, or laser cutting systems
- Understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes including punching, bending, forming, and laser cutting
- Ability to discuss tooling life, consumable performance, setup reduction, and production efficiency
- Strong relationship-building and territory management skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Willingness to travel 50–75%
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $65,000 – $75,000
- Total Target Compensation: $90,000 – $105,000
