We are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer with proven sales experience in metalworking, CNC machinery, and cutting tools to join our client, a leader in providing high-precision manufacturing solutions. This company is recognized for offering innovative CNC machine tools and automation technologies, including vertical and horizontal machining centers, turning centers, EDM solutions, laser, and multi-axis machines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth by identifying and engaging with prospective customers across diverse manufacturing sectors.
  • Present and demonstrate a broad range of CNC machinery and related solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts, ensuring long-term customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to provide tailored solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales opportunities.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, customer events, and product training sessions.

Qualifications

  • Proven sales experience in metalworking, machine tools, cutting tools, accessories, or capital goods (examples include Metal Cutting, Carbide Cutting Tools, Diamond Cutting Tools, High-Speed Steel Cutting Tools, Indexible Carbide Tooling, Solid Carbide, High-Speed End Mills, Threading, Grooving, Turning, Lathes, Milling, Drilling, Reaming, and Drills).
  • Sales experience with cutting fluids, carbide tooling, and CNC machinery will be strongly considered.
  • Minimum of 3 years in sales or applications engineering related to CNC Machine Tools, including milling, turning centers, EDM (Wire & Sinker), laser cutting, plasma cutting, and multi-axis milling.
  • Strong knowledge of precision manufacturing processes and advanced machining technologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage a sales pipeline, and meet or exceed targets.
  • Technical aptitude to understand and convey complex machine specifications.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary of $80,000 – $100,000, with realistic total income potential in the $130,000 – $170,000 range through commissions and performance incentives.
