We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Manager to oversee their CNC machining facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machine tool operations, production management, and team leadership. The Plant Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the plant, meeting production targets, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the CNC machining facility, including production scheduling, machine maintenance, and quality control.
  • Manage a team of supervisors, machinists, programmers and support staff to ensure production goals are met.
  • Develop and implement production plans to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and sales, to meet customer requirements and drive business growth.
  • Manage plant budget and expenses to ensure financial targets are achieved.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes and equipment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Must have profit and loss responsibility experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
