Join our client, a leading national marketer specializing in tungsten carbide cutting tools for the OEM machine tool market, as a Channel Manager. This company is renowned for its high-quality products and commitment to innovation, catering to a wide range of industrial applications.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Channel Manager to expand our client’s market presence and drive sales growth in the OEM machine tool sector. This is a field-based role focused on establishing and nurturing relationships with large national distributors and key accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals.
  • Identify and prioritize key accounts and national distributors, fostering strong relationships to drive sales and increase market share.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a deep understanding of product features, advantages, and applications, effectively communicating these to clients.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for clients and distributor teams.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to recommend strategies for product development and enhancement.
  • Act as a consultant to clients, offering tailored solutions and support to meet their specific requirements.
  • Travel extensively to meet clients, attend trade shows, and conduct sales meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven track record in sales within the carbide cutting tools industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of tungsten carbide cutting tools, their applications, and the OEM machine tool market.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze market data and trends to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the designated territory.

Compensation:

  • Competitive salary range: $100,000 – $120,000, commensurate with experience.
