Our client, a leading marketer of tungsten carbide cutting tools to the OEM machine tool market, is seeking a dedicated Application Engineer with expertise in carbide cutting tools. This role offers a remote work opportunity, full-time engagement, comprehensive benefits, and covers all work-related expenses.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize extensive experience in carbide cutting tools to provide technical support and solutions to customers in the OEM machine tool market.
• Analyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate tooling, applications, feeds, and speeds for optimal performance.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to develop and refine tooling solutions based on customer feedback and market trends.
• Conduct tooling trials, demonstrations, and training sessions for customers to showcase product capabilities and advantages.
• Act as a technical advisor, providing guidance on tooling selection, troubleshooting, and best practices to both customers and internal stakeholders.
• Regularly travel to client sites for on-site support, training, and consultations (anticipated travel percentage to be specified).

Qualifications:

• Prior hands-on experience specifically with tungsten carbide cutting tools in the OEM machine tool industry.
• Proven track record in applications engineering, demonstrating strong knowledge of running tooling, applications, feeds, and speeds.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Self-driven and independent, capable of working remotely while maintaining effective collaboration with internal teams and clients.
• Willingness to travel extensively as required to fulfill customer engagements.

Compensation: $100,000-$115,000 (depending on experience)
