Electronic Discharge Machinery (EDM) Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and goal-oriented Electronic Discharge Machinery (EDM) Sales Representative. As an EDM Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling EDM machines and solutions to customers in various industries. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales. You will play a key role in expanding our customer base and achieving revenue targets.


  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to achieve sales targets for EDM machines and solutions
  • Identify and prospect potential customers in industries such as manufacturing, tool and die, aerospace, automotive, and medical
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients through effective communication, product demonstrations, and networking activities
  • Understand customer requirements and provide tailored EDM solutions that address their specific needs and challenges
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features, capabilities, and benefits of our EDM machines and technologies
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction throughout the sales process
  • Stay updated with industry trends, EDM technologies, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities
  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote our products, generate leads, and expand professional networks
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market feedback to management, highlighting sales progress, challenges, and potential areas of growth


  • Proven experience as a Sales Representative or similar role in the EDM machinery or related industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of Electronic Discharge Machinery (EDM) principles, processes, and applications
  • Experience and knowledge in EDM consumables, such as electrodes, wire, and dielectric fluids, qualifies the candidate to effectively understand customer needs, recommend appropriate consumables, and provide comprehensive solutions for EDM machine operations
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to establish rapport and build trust with customers
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and present technical solutions effectively
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach to sales and business development
  • Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools for effective pipeline management and reporting
  • Willingness to travel and attend industry events as required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
