Quality Manager

A well-established industrial manufacturer is seeking a Quality Manager to provide leadership across quality systems, environmental health and safety, and continuous improvement initiatives within its manufacturing operation.

This is a highly visible, hands-on role that works closely with plant leadership, engineering, maintenance, and production to improve product quality, strengthen workplace safety, maintain regulatory compliance, and support efficient manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will enjoy being on the plant floor, solving problems, and helping drive operational excellence.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the facility’s quality management system and promote a culture focused on continuous improvement, product consistency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with production, engineering, and operations to identify process improvements, resolve quality issues, and improve overall manufacturing performance.
  • Investigate quality concerns, perform root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and help prevent recurring issues.
  • Prepare for and coordinate customer, regulatory, and certification audits while ensuring quality systems, procedures, and documentation remain effective.
  • Develop and support workplace safety programs by conducting inspections, investigating incidents, coordinating employee training, and promoting a proactive safety culture.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and other applicable regulatory requirements while maintaining required records and reporting.
  • Oversee environmental compliance activities, including hazardous materials, waste management, chemical safety, and coordination with regulatory agencies and service providers.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and plant leadership to improve quality, safety, and overall operational performance.
  • Monitor quality and safety performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and help implement best practices throughout the facility.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience leading quality programs within a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of quality management systems, internal auditing, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience supporting workplace safety programs, OSHA compliance, incident investigations, and employee safety training.
  • Familiarity with environmental compliance, hazardous waste management, EPA regulations, or related manufacturing compliance activities.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and build relationships across multiple departments.
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to balance quality leadership, safety initiatives, and operational support in a manufacturing setting.

Preferred Background:

Experience in manufacturing environments such as metal casting, foundries, die casting, investment casting, steel processing, aluminum processing, metal fabrication, forging, heat treating, CNC machining, precision machining, automotive, aerospace, or other industrial manufacturing operations is highly desirable.

Candidates currently working as a Quality Manager, Quality Systems Manager, Manufacturing Quality Engineer, Senior Quality Engineer, Quality Supervisor, Quality & EHS Manager, QEHS Manager, or EHS Manager with significant quality responsibilities are encouraged to apply.
