- Identify opportunities to increase product adoption within machine shops, OEM manufacturers, contract manufacturers, and other precision machining environments.
- Collaborate with internal operations and customer support teams to ensure outstanding customer satisfaction from initial opportunity through implementation.
- Represent the company at customer visits, technical seminars, open houses, and industry trade shows.

This expertise may have been developed while selling or supporting cutting tools, toolholders (tool holders), workholding (work holding) systems, CNC machine tools, precision tooling, or other engineered products used in metalworking environments.
Successful candidates often come from customer-facing technical roles where they have balanced business development with application support—working directly with machinists, CNC programmers, manufacturing engineers, tooling engineers, process engineers, production managers, purchasing teams, and executive leadership to solve manufacturing challenges and develop long-term customer relationships.
Experience working through industrial distributors, manufacturers’ representative organizations, or strategic channel partners is highly desirable, along with the ability to develop business plans, prioritize growth opportunities, and execute market development strategies.
What We’re Looking For:

- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, including milling, drilling, turning, reaming, Swiss machining, and other precision machining applications.
- The ability to communicate effectively with everyone from machine operators and manufacturing engineers to purchasing professionals and executive leadership.
- Experience delivering technical presentations, customer training, product demonstrations, or field application support.
- A proven track record of developing strategic customer relationships and growing business through industrial distribution or key accounts.
- Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while traveling throughout North America.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary of $90,000–$110,000
- Performance-based incentive opportunity
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
- Retirement savings program
- Paid time off
- Company-paid business travel expenses
