Sales Manager – Aluminum Extrusions

A well-established, globally supported aluminum extrusion manufacturer is seeking a high-performing Sales Manager – Aluminum Extrusions to drive revenue growth across North America.

This is a true hunter role for a sales professional with a strong background in custom aluminum extrusions, particularly smaller, lightweight profiles with painted, anodized, and finished products. The ideal candidate understands the extrusion process from die design through fabrication and finishing, and thrives in a performance-driven, relationship-focused environment.

The Opportunity:

This position combines aggressive new business development with strategic account management. You will leverage an existing book of customers and industry contacts while actively prospecting and developing new OEM and industrial accounts.

You’ll represent a supplier with global manufacturing capabilities, advanced extrusion presses, secondary operations, and value-added services including fabrication, kitting, finishing, and light assembly solutions. The organization operates with lean decision-making, strong service consistency, and reliable supply chain execution.

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive new business development within industrial and commercial aluminum markets
  • Expand and penetrate existing accounts, increasing share of wallet
  • Sell custom aluminum extrusions, lightweight profiles, and finished components
  • Promote value-added services including fabrication, kitting, coatings, and assembly
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through quotation, negotiation, and closing
  • Maintain a disciplined sales pipeline and deliver consistent revenue growth
  • Travel regularly to customer sites (must reside near a major airport)
  • Participate in periodic international travel to support global manufacturing alignment

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven track record in aluminum extrusion sales or closely related metals manufacturing
  • Experience with painted, coated, anodized, and finished aluminum products
  • Strong understanding of custom profiles, dies, tolerances, alloys, and secondary operations
  • Established network within industrial manufacturing markets
  • Demonstrated hunter mentality with documented revenue results
  • Ability to balance aggressive growth objectives with a strong sales and service mindset
  • Self-directed and comfortable operating within a lean organization
