Regional Sales Manager

We are seeking an experienced and driven Regional Sales Manager to lead sales activities for fabrication tooling and sheet metal solutions across the West Coast territory. This high-impact role focuses on driving growth, managing a direct sales team, and building strong customer relationships within the metal fabrication, machining, and manufacturing industries.

The ideal candidate will combine sales leadership expertise with a strong technical background in fabrication machinery, CNC machine tools, workholding, and automation integration. You will mentor and develop a team of sales professionals, foster customer relationships, and deliver results in a fast-paced, competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive regional sales growth by developing and executing strategic sales plans.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a direct team of sales professionals, providing technical expertise and guidance.
  • Engage directly with customers, delivering presentations, product demonstrations, and tailored solutions in fabrication tooling, automation, and sheet metal processing.
  • Identify new business opportunities to expand market share and deepen customer relationships.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity, refining strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer open houses to showcase products and solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of regional sales objectives.
  • Oversee daily sales operations, including recruitment, training, and performance management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of sales and/or sales management experience in fabrication tooling, machining, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated success managing and developing a direct sales team to achieve growth targets.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC punch presses, press brakes, laser cutting systems (fiber and CO₂), plasma cutting, waterjet cutting, shearing machines, sawing equipment, stamping presses, welding systems, and finishing equipment.
  • Familiarity with zero-point workholding systems, self-centering vises, quick-change modular fixturing, and 3-/4-/5-axis machining centers.
  • Experience with automation integration such as robotic welding, pallet systems, and material handling solutions.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and CAD/CAM software is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel regionally at least 50% of the time.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Total Compensation: $100,000 – $165,000/year (base salary + commissions and bonuses)
