This role is ideal for someone with hands-on CNC machining experience who understands the nuances of metal cutting, toolpath strategies, and high-speed machining, and who enjoys working directly with customers on process improvements and turnkey solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to customers throughout the sales and post-sales process, including machine setup, programming, and troubleshooting of 5-axis CNC machining centers.
  • Develop optimized machining processes including part fixturing, tooling selection, feeds and speeds, and G-code programming using control platforms such as Fanuc, Siemens, or Heidenhain.
  • Perform time studies, process capability analysis, and cycle time optimization to demonstrate machine capabilities and ensure customer success.
  • Create and deliver documentation such as process sheets, setup instructions, and maintenance guidelines.
  • Conduct customer training sessions on machine operation, programming, and CAM software use (e.g., Mastercam, NX, Fusion 360).
  • Collaborate with engineering, service, and sales teams to support customer applications across industries focused on precision manufacturing and multi-axis machining.

Qualifications:
