Our client, a growing CNC machine builder specializing in high-performance 5-axis milling machines, is seeking a skilled and motivated Sales Engineer to help expand their footprint in the advanced manufacturing and precision machining markets. Responsibilities:

• Drive new business development and manage the full sales cycle for CNC machining centers, with a focus on 5-axis milling machines.
• Identify opportunities in sectors such as aerospace, medical device manufacturing, automotive, and defense industries.
• Conduct on-site visits, customer consultations, and technical presentations to highlight the capabilities of multi-axis machining systems.
• Collaborate with engineering and applications teams to deliver turnkey metal cutting solutions tailored to specific customer needs.
• Prepare competitive quotations and proposals for capital equipment projects.
• Attend industry trade shows and regional events to build brand awareness and generate leads.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies, high-speed machining, and CAM software trends.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in capital equipment sales, preferably in the CNC machine tool or metalworking industry.
• Strong understanding of 5-axis machining, CNC milling, and modern manufacturing processes.
• Technical degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology, or related field preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to close complex, high-value equipment deals with manufacturing and engineering clients.
• Experience with G-code, CAM software, or hands-on machining process optimization is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
