Our client, a leader in motion control, automation, and robotics, is seeking a Product Director – Systems Integration to spearhead the strategic direction, financial performance, and operational execution of a critical business segment. This role will be instrumental in driving innovation, market expansion, and cross-functional collaboration to advance automation solutions across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities:

P&L Management & Business Growth:

  • Oversee financial performance, including revenue growth, profitability, and cost optimization.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to expand market share within automation, robotics, and motion control.
  • Identify opportunities for product line expansion, strategic partnerships, and competitive positioning.

Strategic Leadership & Market Development:

  • Define and execute go-to-market strategies for integrated automation solutions, encompassing CNC machining, robotic assembly, automated material handling, and precision laser processing.
  • Drive innovation and differentiation by identifying emerging trends in industrial automation, robotic welding, smart manufacturing, and precision motion control.
  • Engage with key customers, industry partners, and stakeholders to develop long-term relationships and strategic alliances.

Technical & Commercial Expertise:

  • Act as a bridge between technical and business disciplines, ensuring alignment between engineering, sales, and manufacturing teams.
  • Oversee the development of cutting-edge automation solutions, including servo drives, PLCs, robotic arms, linear actuators, and automated vision inspection systems.
  • Ensure products meet industry standards and customer requirements, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution:

  • Lead cross-functional teams in product development, commercialization, and operations.
  • Collaborate with engineering, sales, and operations teams to optimize product design, manufacturing processes, and market positioning.
  • Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies to enhance delivery timelines and product quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in automation, robotics, or motion control industries.
  • Strong technical background in automation, CNC systems, robotic programming, and mechatronics applications.
  • Proven track record in product lifecycle management, market analysis, and business development.
  • Exceptional ability to lead teams, drive strategy, and influence key stakeholders.

Compensation:

Base Salary: $160,000 – $185,000
Total W-2: $230,000 – $250,000
