Our client, a leading provider of innovative equipment solutions for the aluminum melting/recycling industry, is seeking a Sales Manager. Their products are essential in the process of melting aluminum and are designed to optimize efficiency, safety, and sustainability. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join their team and drive their sales efforts within this critical sector.
Position Overview:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to increase market share and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in selling equipment or machinery specifically designed for use in aluminum recycling plants or similar industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the aluminum recycling industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
- Provide technical expertise and product knowledge to customers.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Collaborate with the engineering and product development teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as necessary.
- Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote our products and services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of success in selling equipment or machinery to the aluminum industry. (ie: furnaces, burners, refractory, fluxes/degassing equipment, preheating equipment, thermal oxidizers, automated charging systems, thermocouples, temperature control systems, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of the aluminum recycling process, particularly in melting aluminum.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel frequently to meet with customers and attend industry events.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Base Compensation: $130,000 to $180,000 plus Bonus
Reporting to: COO
