Vice President of Sales

Our client, a leading provider of CNC machine tools in the capital goods industry, is seeking a Vice President of Sales. This company serves both dealers and end users, their innovative solutions and commitment to excellence have positioned them as a key player in the market.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the capital goods machine tool industry, with a focus on sales and P&L management. This role offers the opportunity to lead a talented sales team and drive business growth in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives
  • Manage P&L for the CNC machine tools sales division, including budgeting and forecasting
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers and end users
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand market share
  • Provide leadership and direction to the sales team, ensuring targets are met or exceeded
  • Stay current on industry trends and market conditions to inform business decisions
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and support company-wide goals


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field; MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales within the capital goods machine tool industry
  • Proven track record of success in sales and P&L management
  • Strong network of contacts in the industry, including dealers and end users
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Willingness to travel as needed


  • Base Salary: $140,000-$150,000 plus an aggressive incentive bonus
