Regional Sales Manager

Our client, a prestigious leader in the CNC marketplace, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to join their team and drive sales across the New England territory.

Location: New England (ME, NH, MA, RI, CT, VT, Eastern NY, NJ, Quebec)

Compensation:

  • Base Salary Range: $90,000 – $110,000 per year
  • Commission: Up to $30,000 based on sales performance

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve regional sales targets and expand market share within the assigned territory.
  • Identify, prospect, and acquire new customers while nurturing and maintaining relationships with existing clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement effective promotional campaigns, product launches, and sales initiatives.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions to showcase our machining solutions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Prepare and submit accurate sales forecasts, reports, and budgets on a regular basis.
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as engineering, operations, and customer service to ensure seamless delivery and service.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven track record of successful sales experience in the machining industry.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of chipmaking, machine tooling, or cutting tools (CNC Machine Tools, Metalworking, Diamond or High-Speed Steel Cutting Tools, Indexible Carbide Tooling, Solid Carbide, Grinding, Grinders, Threading, Grooving, Turning, Lathes, Milling, Drilling, Reaming, High-Speed End Mills, Drills, taps, tool holders, etc.).
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
