Join our client, a leading supplier of cutting-edge Lithium-Ion battery technology and products catered to the rapidly growing electric vehicle industry. As a pivotal player in this dynamic sector, we are seeking a Director of Sales to drive strategic growth, manage customer relationships, and spearhead revenue generation.

Compensation:

• Base Salary: $150,000 – $190,000
• W-2 Total: $180,000 – $230,000

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to significantly increase revenue, leveraging expertise in lithium-ion materials and products.
• Navigate a fast-paced, high-growth environment while negotiating and enforcing contracts, supporting procurement activities, and securing the supply chain, including involvement in Mergers and Acquisitions.
• Foster global engagement, necessitating travel as required.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of sales leadership experience within the Li-ion battery industry.
• Proven track record in developing and executing strategic sales plans, consistently exceeding targets.
• Candidates with experience in Program Management-related roles will be seriously considered.
• Experience in a fast-paced, start-up, high-growth environment.
• Proficiency in negotiating contracts, supporting procurement, and securing the supply chain, including involvement in Mergers and Acquisitions.
• Ability and willingness to travel globally as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Shainin Red X, and Six Sigma Process Improvement methodologies.
• Advanced degree in Business or Engineering disciplines.
• Relevant sales experience in cylindrical and pouch-style battery electrodes, cell assembly & testing. Module and Pack experience is a plus.
