Seeking a CNC Machinist to join our client, a company dedicated to delivering high-quality precision components. This will be a first shift position Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 3:00pm with a salary range of $25-$38.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions to program and adjust machines.
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure product quality and adherence to tolerances.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the machining process.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal functionality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
• Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, drawings, and geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
• Strong knowledge of CNC Machine Tool programming and the ability to make program edits as needed.
• Familiarity with a variety of materials, including metals and plastics.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Education and Certifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a relevant technical or vocational training program.
• CNC Machinist certification is a plus.
