Davalyn Corporation has been retained to fill a manufacturing engineering position in central Pennsylvania. Our client an internationally recognized manufacturer of industrial products addressing the broad range of high growth industries

Description

  • A degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, and 5-10 years hands-on experience in a similar position or discipline
  • 5+ years programming CNC machine tools
    • 2 & 4 axis lathes
    • 3 & 4 axis machining centers
  • 5+ years fixture & tooling design experience – Conceptualize, Design, & Improve
    • Work with internal & external resources to have Bachelor’s fixtures & tooling built, tested, & implemented.
  • Extensive knowledge of CNC machine tools – Operations & Controls
  • Must be able to effectively operate & interact with machine tool controls
  • Okuma, Fanuc controls preferred.
  • 5+ years CAD/CAM software experience
  • Creo & EdgeCAM preferred.

Preferred Experience/skills

  • Manufacturing Engineering:
  • LEAN (5s, Kaizen, etc…), Quality Management Tools & Methods (Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Action, DMAIC, Continuous Improvement, Gage R&R, SPC, Process Capability, Six Sigma, etc…)
  • SAP, ERP/MRP, Costing System, Demand Planning & Inventory Management
  • Strong proficiency skills with Microsoft Office
  • 3+ years’ experience in a union environment
  • 3+ years Controls Engineering:
  • Robotic process development & programming experience – Troubleshoot robotic issues, make continuous improvements to existing cells, & integrating new robotics into a cell
  • Fanuc & ABB robot preferred.
  • PLC, HMI, & MES system & programming experience – Ability to troubleshoot, edit / improve, & create new programs.
  • PLC & HMI – Allen Bradley preferred.
  • MES – AVEVA (Wonderware) preferred.

Base compensation to $95,000 range.
