Search underway for an Inside Sales Manager. This position will be responsible for managing inside sales force ( 8-10 ). Working with sales reps and operation managers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing sales personnel and assisting with customer service and product issues
  • Making sales presentations and building a vision to grow regional sales
  • Actively searching and recruiting new target customers, developing accounts, increasing customer count
  • Helping coordinate sales campaigns
  • Assisting in the training and the development of sales reps
  • Implementing company marketing and sales plans and monitor results
  • Assisting in the development of promotional materials to enhance product sales
  • Maintaining relationships with purchasing and category management
  • Being familiar with company product literature and be able to convey product information and availability to customers
  • Helping manage the reduction of returns and credits

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Directly supervising employees in the Sales Department
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Prior management experience in Inside Sales is required
  • Prefer experience with sales and management experience in the automotive aftermarket industry

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Attention to detail, ensure accuracy in work assignments
  • Able to work variable schedule which may include some weekends and travel
